“The Puppy Whisperer” Book Review

Did you ever buy a book and think: "I wish I'd had this book before I...."?

Well, that's pretty much how I felt when I picked up and read a copy of Puppy Whisperer: A Compassionate, Non Violent Guide to Early Training and Care. I took a quick look inside before I bought it and thought: "What the hell, I'll give it a try."

I started reading it yesterday and I just finished it - what a fabulous resource for a new puppy owner! Paul Owens and Terence Cranendonk take you step-by-step through the first weeks - exercise, training, feeding - schedules and tips and tricks that I haven't found all in one place before. It's invaluable!

Like I say, I wish I'd had this before I picked Farfl up from the breeder - I'm one of those people who likes to be told step-by-step what to do when and if it goes wrong, then do this....I will be following this book religiously from now on, even though I've had Farfl for a couple of weeks now.

I'm so impressed with Puppy Whisperer: A Compassionate, Non Violent Guide to Early Training and Care that I will probably go and buy The Dog Whisperer: A Compassionate, Nonviolent Approach to Dog Training too!
