Okay, so there's no real reason to post - other than Farfl just doesn't stop being cute.

farfl_in_jess_bed

This is Farfl in her arch nemesis Jess' bed. I knitted it for Jess when I discovered felting. Jess dug it for a while then got tired of it. Farfl was happy to take it over....

With her in the bed is the little squeaky crab toy her breeder Lenni Reed sent home with her. She still loves it! It was the smallest toy Lenni could find, I think. Farfl was only a pound and a half when I got her, so bigger toys were out of the question.

The giant bat-like ears are flattened down. She looks like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth.......I love how shiny her coat is!

Farfl looks so great against the jazzy background of my home office couch. I really should throw this hippo in the washing machine. She loves it the most, I think, out of all her toys, but it's so gross and grubby now. She's nearly chewed its left ear off. Charming!

You’ll be glad to know that Hippo has now had a wash and although he lost an ear in the process is much better for it!

We had a hippo and then we killed it! Jack’s favourite is his daisy and Patrick loves all balls!

Yeah – Farfl’s nearly killed this hippo. It’s lost one ear and the back of its neck is opening up! I must sew it up before the squeaker gets loose! Love your blog, by the way!
