Farfl at Woofstock

Farfl at Woofstock

Farfl and the Great Dane

Last weekend I took Farfl to Woofstock for the first time.

For those of you that don't know, Woofstock is the biggest festival for dogs in North America. And it happens in my home town!

Last year we couldn't go because Farfl had just been spayed, so I was very excited to be able to attend this year with my great friend Joanne Borts, who was in town doing Fiddler on the Roof.

I was excited to see so many of my friends from the Toronto Chihuahua Meetup Group - in fact there were probably more Chihuahuas than any other breed. There were also a lot of Great Danes and I couldn't resist taking a picture of this black one whose head is bigger than Farfl's entire body!

I made a new friend in Bettina who came with three of her five Chihuahuas and managed to pick up some half-price dog food and a bunch of free goodies. The rain held off and Farfl really enjoyed the amount of socialization and attention she got - we were even on CP24!

If you're ever in Toronto in June I strongly advise you pay a visit to Woofstock - it's enormous fun and you get great free stuff. What's not to like?
