If you look at the blog post above the link to the book where I got the sweater from is at the very end. I based Farfl’s sweater on the Astro pattern – it’s for dogs from 1lb!

Happy 2nd Birthday Farfl !!!
You are 6 months old than me, so I guess that means I’ll be looking up to you for advice on how to deal with these “humans”. So far, so good. My 2 human mommies have treated me exceptionally well, and after reading your website, you seem to be getting the royal treatment just like me.
Anyway, just wanted to say Happy Birthday Farf. Hope to see you in the park sometime soon so that I can give you a big birthday roll-in-the-leaves hug. Here’s to being 2 yet staying small forever!

Boy is she cute! I have a little black chihuahua, too so I am a huge fan. I have a website for him and there is another little black chihuahua we have a link to on that blog. I also started a Facebook group for Black Chihuahua Lovers and Owners a little while ago. Check it out!

I use the term because it is widespread and despite the Kennel Club’s dismissal of the word you simply cannot get away from the public’s use of it. If you read this article carefully you will see that I do not condone the purchase of super-tiny dogs since they are more likely to have significant health problems. I agree with you that no adult Chihuahua can fit into a teacup – even Farfl who is only 3 1/2 lbs. But the word is out there and is used in connection not just with Chihuahuas but with other breeds such as Poodles and Yorkshire Terriers when they are on the small side.
